He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from India in 2020. His further interest in sustainability and management led him to pursue a Master’s degree in Management in Germany, which he successfully completed in 2022. This interdisciplinary background provided him with a unique perspective that bridges technical understanding with strategic and organizational insights.
He is currently a national PhD student at the University of Pisa, where he is conducting research on the working time–waste nexus. His doctoral work explores the complex relationship between waste generation—particularly that resulting from low product durability and planned or perceived obsolescence—and interlinkage to reducing working time.
Through his work, he seeks to shed light on the dual dimensions of this issue: the environmental impact of material waste and resource inefficiency, and the social consequences associated with labor patterns, consumption, and well-being. He is also works in circular economy principles, and the role of policy and management strategies in promoting sustainable transitions. By examining these interconnected factors, his research aspires to contribute to more sustainable models of production and consumption.
