Visited between September 2022 and February 2023 through an internship as a part of her master’s degree thesis. The thesis was performed inside the AWARE group as a collaboration between Politecnico di Milano and Chalmers University of Technology. The topic of the thesis was how to consider quality degradation from recycling in Life Cycle Assessment with a focus on glass. The thesis focused on the quantification of the substitutability between container glass cullet and virgin material based on different quality aspects and secondary applications.
